My name is Hendra Mawlid, and I’ve spent the last 13+ years working on pools across Bali, Lombok, and beyond — from small residential villas in Canggu to full hotel projects. I’ve built pools from scratch, renovated old ones that hadn’t been touched in years, and maintained everything in between.
Over the years I’ve worked on villas in Canggu, Seminyak, Ubud, Jimbaran, and Sanur. I’ve done hotel projects, resort pools, and private residences. I’ve worked in Lombok, Nusa Penida, and across other islands as projects demanded. Every job has taught me something — about local conditions, about water chemistry in tropical climates, about what villa owners actually need versus what they’re usually told.
What I’ve noticed is that most villa owners — especially those who don’t live in Bali full time — are stuck between two bad options: a vendor who’s unreliable and can’t communicate in English, or an expensive management company that takes a cut and sends someone else anyway. I built Bali Pool Care to fill that gap.
